When Aymee wakes each morning, she's had yet another vivid dream. Her night time visions are so sexually chaotic that when her eyes do open, she can't separate those dreams from her reality and often believes that they have actually taken place. Usually, if someone else goes through the same thing, this feeling often fades after a few minutes but for Aymee, her situation gets worse the longer the day goes on. This is Aymee Grimes story, as her tormenting dreams threaten to destroy her loving relationship with boyfriend Cory. This is her suffering, unable to work out if she's slept with her ex boyfriend behind his back or not. Then the ultimate nightmare, as the love bite she dreams about unwillingly receiving, appears on her neck the very next morning. A fast paced psychological thriller, where a female dreads going to sleep, only to fear waking up more.

It is a golden time for Earth and the Sol Alliance. Peace reigns supreme. The MEKON, perhaps mankind’s greatest enemy, has finally been vanquished and is undergoing behavioural treatment in a maximum-security prison built on the Moon. Yet the one man responsible for the capture of the Mekon, the legendary space pilot DAN DARE, languishes in a prison of his own making. With no foe to fight, battle to win or day to be saved, Dan finds himself shackled by the chains of normality and boredom. In a silent prayer, Dan begs the universe to give him a reason to take flight again to the stars. And his prayers have seemingly been answered. From an unchartered sector of the galaxy an ancient spaceship of unknown origin and purpose has arrived, broadcasting a strange, un-decipherable signal – and stated its intent by destroying one of the moons of Saturn in a colossal show of strength and firepower… p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Calibri} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Calibri; min-height: 14.0px}

Preaching to Convert offers an intriguing new perspective on the outreach strategies of U.S. evangelicals. Author John Fletcher frames these activities, from door-to-door proselytizing to the spirited sermons of superstar televangelists, as examples of activist performance, broadly defined here as acts performed before an audience in the hopes of changing hearts and minds. Most writing about activist performance has focused on left-progressive causes, events, and actors, and if evangelicals have appeared at all, they often appear as one-dimensional forces of ignorance or bigotry against which brave (left-leaning) activists must fight. Preaching to Convert argues against such a constricted view of activism and for a more nuanced understanding of U.S. evangelicalism as a movement defined by its desire to win converts and spread the gospel. In other words, evangelicals are activist performers par excellence. The book positions evangelicals as a diverse, complicated group confronting the loss of conservative Christianity’s default status in twenty-first–century U.S. culture. In the face of an increasingly secular age, evangelicals have been reassessing models of outreach. In acts like handing out Bible tracts to strangers on the street or going door-to-door with a Bible in hand, in elaborately staged horror-themed morality plays or multi-million-dollar creationist discovery centers, in megachurch services beamed to dozens of satellite campuses, and in controversial “ex-gay” ministries striving to return gays and lesbians to the straight and narrow, evangelicals are redefining what it means to be deeply committed in a pluralist world. The book’s engaging style and careful argumentation make it accessible and appealing to scholars and students across a range of fields.

Poetry is the translator of my inner self and my spiritual self. Poetry is the language I use to express what I don't quite understand. Poetry is indeed a gift. This gift gives me peace. Peace is what's left after releasing, in poetry, my aches, my pain, and my sorrows. And poetry even extends my hopes and joy. Poetry helps me to except who I really am, even that part of me that I don't like. It's not until after a completion of a poem, that I see or hear what I've seen or heard. Often times I misunderstand myself, until my spirit leads to me clarify myself to myself. Everything that is made and was made was made by God. There is nothing new under the sun. Everything that is given and was given was given by God. There is nothing new under the Son. Every good thing is from the Lord. What I do with my good thing is up to me. And everything I do, I do to glorify the Lord. And this gift, which is a good thing to anyone who hears and accepts it, will be to the Glory of God. When I was a child, I thought as a child. But when I grew in the Spirit, I put away those childish things. There are records of my childish *wae's of my very childish thinking. I did not understand my gift, thou I used my gift to the best of my childish understanding. Now that I understand my gift and acknowledge the strength in my gift, I use this gift to help others, to reach others and to express love to others in a wae that others could understand, accept and receive the love of the Lord. This is my Poetry Expression Connection to YOU!
